Hi Laurie
I thought I would drop a short note to let you know that I passed the CWSP exam and once again I couldn't have done it with the help of woundeducators.com. I think it is a wonderful course and it was enormously helpful in organizing the studying necessary to pass the exam. The 2 books that were included were also very valuable and were full of information that was not only helpful with the test but they will serve as a guide for patient care in my daily routine.
Thank you again for all your help and support. You have already heard from Irma and I understand she is ordering some 35 courses for all the wound champions to take which will greatly improve our pt. care at Beckley.

Sirs
I wanted to let you know I successfully passed the CWS exam thanks largely to your excellent course. I used the course to review and it organized the material so that I had a very logical method to go over the rather extensive syllabus. I found the homework downloads especially helpful. I plan to continue studying and try to pass the CWSP exam shortly and of course I will be again using your course as my study guide. I have recommended the course to all the wound champions at my hospital and encouraged them to get certified.

I have completed the wound care course. I found the course very helpful in providing basic knowledge about the approach to wound care management. I was disciplined and did all the work in a sequential fashion, reading all assignments and watching all the videos. I now have a solid foundation from which to build on as my experience with wound care expands.
I am more comfortable and less confused about the management of different types of chronic wounds, and have a greater appreciation of the myriad of wound care products that are available.
I am happy that I decided to take the course even though I have no desire for formal wound care certification. I found that readings reinforced with the videos, and the ability to repeat the videos as needed, was a great learning tool.
I enjoyed the structured on-line education at my own pace at home as opposed to a one or two week course in a strange city stuck in a chair in a classroom and living out of a hotel. I got my money's worth. It worked for me. I continue to refer to the textbooks that were provided with the course. Thanks
Philip B.
P.S. I practice infectious diseases, and participate in multidisciplinary wound care on a daily basis with wound care nurses and surgeons.

Ms. Swezey,

I thought you might like to know that I did successfully pass the Wound Care Certification exam through the APWCA/CMET taken April 5, 2009. I am officially a fellow of the APWCA and plan on continuing to further my skills in wound management. I work as a hospitalist in an LTAC and this will help me a great deal care for my patient population, most of whom have wound care needs.

Your course was quite good, in particular the texts provided with the course. They were both very helpful and thorough. Reading each of them through and through was the key to passing this exam, I think.

Thanks again for your assistance and your excellent course.
