How much continuing education credit is provided with each course? 

  • Basic certification course:  50 CE credit hours
  • Advanced certification course:  57 CE/CME credit hours
  • Refresher course:  27.5 CE/CME credit hours
  • Training course:  10 CE credit hours

How do I know if a continuing education activity is accepted by my state board? 

  • Nurses:  WoundEducators.com, LLC is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the New York State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.  Our approval is accepted in all States.
  • Physical therapists:  Most boards of accept a wide variety of CE activities in fulfillment of CE requirements. However, because each board has a slightly different way of determining approved programs, you will need to check with your state board to determine whether or not this course will satisfy its requirements.
  • Physician:  our educational program have been approved for AMA PRA Category I Credit(s)TM. 
  • Podiatrist:  Most boards accept a wide variety of CME activities in fulfillment of CPME requirements. However, because each board has a slightly different way of determining approved programs, you will need to check with your state board to determine whether or not this course will satisfy its requirements. 

Do you offer CE credits for other disciplines?
At this time, our courses are approved for CE/CME credit for nurses, physicians, and physical therapists.  Practitioners from other disciplines will, however receive a certificate of completion when finishing the program.
